Well personaly i freaking loved tonites racing for me it has to be the most enjoyable close racing so far even more so than the porsches and i love those to death.

I seem to be able to set these cars up whereas in the f1 and porsches i have difficulty in setting them up but i aint got the skill to show off my gp2 setups to their full potentiall Razz

anyways roll on the full series cos that is gonna be trully superb Very Happy

Sprint Race (20Min):
After a good qualification i did a very consistent Race. Great start for me. Looking good and was seeing Richard approaching lap by lap...Then i pushed hard and i increased the difference but then i did a small mistake and Ric got close. We went for the hook side by side and i stayed ahead. Next Lap, Ric tryed again and eventually overtake me but then he had a problem with the gears and i overtake him again. After another lap he managed to overtake me and get 3rd. Great battle and great Racing.

Feature Race (40Min);
Great start for me again after starting from 7th on the grid due to Reverse Grid Rules. Then i made a mistake and pitted 2 laps earlier while battling with Michel. Got a Stop & Go Penalty because of exceeding pit speed limit. Then for some reason i got a Drive Through Penalty and had to go to the pits 2 more times LOL.. Overall i did 5 Pitstops so it was a very bad race for me lol... Even though i pushed harder, Felipe did a great job and finished 4th ahead of me.

OVERALL:
Great Racing. Great Fun. And a good positive note was that we didnt need any Race Restarts. Bring on the 1st Official Race, next week at Valencia!

Race 1:
Pretty fun. Jumped from 3rd to first on the start, and after that I had a great battle with Zaahir, was able to hold him off until he screwed up (Damn you! Razz). Then was just in the lead until the end, kept running out on Stefan (eventualy 7 secs) so was pretty confident. A bit too confident at the end maybe, cause I spun on the teeny weeny curbstone before entering the stadium, and ended up having 1 sec spare in front of Stefan.

Race 2:
Jumped from 10th to 5th at the start, then was able to take over the rest of the cars which was pretty cool. Maybe a bit rough while overtaking when I overtook Zaahir. Then Zaahir caught up, and on that teeny weeny curb I slowed down again, and I didn't really block Zaahir, but I should've been a little bit more gentle and go to the right a bit. So I'm sorry for that Zaahir.
Anyway, I had a steady gap in front of Stefan, maybe even won a second over all those laps. But then I noticed that I was running out of fuel (2 laps too early) and I went into the pits. I did what I do in the F1's when I'm unsure about the fuel load, and just pressed the right button ( -> ) to add some fuel. But I ended up having fuel for 8 laps too much which totaly ruined my pace after the stop. To make it worse I spun for some reason which made Stefan go by, and then I spun and lost my front wing a bit later, so yeah, then it was totaly screwed.

Conclusion:
First of all, thanks to Eddie for the setup Smile
I honestly expected more battles, the grid was very stretched out in my opinion for these slow cars. The Porsches still seem to offer most close racing.

Yeah I was surprised by the difference from 1st to last, not as close as the PCC like you say Frank. Not sure whether that was to do with the track or whether these cars take a bit more setting up...

Like Hugo says, no restarts was good, only a few incidents and it was a pretty narrow track.

Oh yeah cheers for the setup Eddie/Stef

Heheeh i think the difference was bigger on the Feature Race (obviously) Smile But yeah i think it might have to do with the car setups. I mean we still are learning to control these cars. Plus it was a very tight track and ppl were carefull cause in the minimum mistake you would have spun. Overtaking here was not that easy which made it even more exciting. And if we look at this note, we had no restarts and almost no incidents considering the fact that the track was very narrow and overtaking was hard im pretty satisfied with the outcome.

Race One:
Was fine to take 2nd, though halfway through the race my screen froze and I lost four seconds, but I probably would have still got 2nd anyway.

Race Two:
Made the most of Frank and Zaahir having bad luck, didn't have the pace to beat either of them though probably. So cool for me.

Thx Eddie for the setup shizzles Smile

well hey wasnt that cool Very Happy

a really *beep* up nite for me anyways Razz 1st race i ended up with frank after falling back at the start, and was just messing around with him....we had some good battles Smile then like an idiot i am driving around without much concentration, was unsighted at the crappy right hander that leads into the old stadium section, and went wide and spin. so stupid. after that i pitted for new front wing, and had so much damn fuel on board (grrr) and started testing what pace i had with high fuel load (testing offline is just boooring lol)....then in stadium section i get on the accelerator a bit early, tyres werent that good, and end up twitching around and run wide....and then i see chris is there. really bad luck that we were both there at the same time, and we collided, both our races over (sorry dude).

2nd race turned out to be boring....but i was up to mischief ehheheheh....the start was ok, i was taking it easy coz i started near the front in a reversed grid. i dodged chris knight was was flying up my rear (i am aware of these things at this league now Razz )....to the hairpin i was still cruising, and then i get brushed aside by a car....honestly thought it was chris. so i cruise around still, following what i thought was chris Razz then i realise im not catching him. ITS FRANK Laughing so i start to push a bit more, and catch him. we had a few battles....then out the corner frank desribed, he ran wide on the kerbs i think, and got yanked to the right of track.....i carried on down the left side....but then franky closed in out of nowhere and i was left stranded up on that shit kerb.....so, race over when i was sitting in the wall Razz went into the pits....and then was driving around with nobody in sight....SOOO boring!!! then i knocked all the braking markers down (muhahaha Twisted Evil ) and that made me smile for a couple laps coz im SURE sum1 must have missed their braking point hahahaha....got bored again, and decided to sit and wait for sum1. hugo arrived, had a bit of battle with him....then waited for the next guy. stefan came along, i was barely keeping up with him coz my damn tyres were so cold from waiting LOL.....waited for frank...turned out he had no front wing so i left him alone....after that i just quit coz i was chatting to him and crashed in the wall Embarassed was getting very late for me so i hadta leave.

this league looks really cool....the cars are sweet, fun to throw around....but i'm still racing with women who use driving aids Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

valencia shud be cool Smile hope it turns out to be good, coz this track was CRAP

edit: ah yeh, forgot that in 2nd race i freakn flew into pits...got a drive thru penalty....it was just ALL happening Laughing
